Shouting USA against Fitzpatrick is just stupid. This isn’t the Ryder Cup. Do you scream out USA at a basketball game when Jokic goes to the free throw line or at a baseball game when Ohtani comes to the plate? Nobody does. People who do this at a PGA event are idiots.

SEC homers say IU would be 8-4 with Bama’s schedule. IU beat that Illinois team by 53 points. Tennessee and Missouri are severely overrated. Vandy may be as well.

So 2 of the 4 amazing top 25 ranked wins that Bama had in a row have already lost their bowl game. Tennessee, who didn’t beat a team with more than 5 wins all year just lost a virtual home game to an Illinois team that Indiana beat by 53 points.

Double edged sword for the Bears beating the Niners tonight makes the Niners/Hawks game meaningless for SF next week. They’d be the #6 seed and would most likely sit starters since they are so banged up. The Bears would need the Niners to beat the Seahawks to get the #1 seed.

Just give the #5 seed a bye week instead of having them play a Group of 5 team. Playing this warmup game is actually a benefit to Oregon. They’ll sit their starters in the 2nd half. I’d bet they beat TT next round, who may come out rusty after being off a month.
