This awesome device, which I'm now also using for 8 years for my #gaming on #Linux and #VR, is such a game changer, I have not and will not play ever with a keyboard again.

Last night I went and got a Meta Quest 3 and spent all night (yes, its now 7 am) coming up with a fix for this bug:

NVIDIA released a new set of beta drivers for Linux that have some improvements for VR users:
• Fixed compatibility with Bigscreen Beyond Head Mounted Displays
• Enabled RMIntrLockingMode by default. This feature can help reduce stutter especially when using virtual reality

Dear @LenovoSupport,
the left controller of my #LegionGo has a faulty copper pin. I've already reached out to local support here in Germany, and they claim this is not covered by warranty (German: Garantie). How can this be? It's not a defect I caused:

If the reply is "however, we are just following the Lenovo limited warranty policy", where the customer has no chance to proof it's not induced by them, the policy might need to be reworked. I think the video is a good proof showing it just happened, no damage caused. Really sad.

But hey, if @GamersNexus can have issues with Asus, I can have issues with Lenovo :)
Though my experience getting my ROG Ally RMA'd (SD card slot, right speaker, left rumble motor, analog sticks) was really good. Sent them a video with the issues, immediately got a retoure label.

Pretty disappointed with @LenovoLegion.
A spring loaded copper pin jumps out of the left controller, and it's not covered by warranty? Physical damage is not covered. There is no "damage" I could have caused, it's not even worn out. I've detached the controllers maybe 20 times.

This issue is present since I bought it in 2023, yet I was able to use the device with the controller attached and could put the pin back. I thought I can report this any time, as it should be covered by warranty. Nope, just within 14 days after purchase. A not obvious issue.

To get this fixed I should buy a new controller. Nah, not going to happen. I was one of the first buyers because I was interested in this concept and paid full price. I would understand if I had caused this, but how should I cause this issue? There is nothing visible mechanically
