JUST IN: A Tornado Watch has been issued for portions of Metro Atlanta and North Georgia until 2 AM Thursday. It will likely be trimmed back as the storms move through.
While the risk for a strong tornado remains low, I would also keep an eye on the damaging wind threat and take severe thunderstorm warnings seriously.
I'll be in the FOX 5 Storm Center alongside @JStaceonFOX5 tracking the storms as they move through.
