Finally, First Aid is becoming mandatory in schools! In 2005 CPR training became compulsory for Danish children over 11 years of age. In the next 6 years, provision of CPR by the public more than doubled and survival from out of hospital cardiac arrest tripled. About time UK !

So where do we go from here? The majority of people think children should be given the opportunity to be introduced to First Aid. Schools have limited budgets but there are costs involved in educating children in First Aid. Funds need to be raised. How about CSR programmes?
