Does anyone actually want a reboot of Home Improvement? This wasn’t even good ‘90s tv, this was ‘there’s nothing else on and streaming hasn’t been invented yet’ tv
Sorry, “Home Improvement” fans. A reboot of the massively popular sitcom is not happening.
Sources tell Variety there have been discussions over the years to get the Taylor family back together again. But there have been stumbling blocks to securing participation from the three Taylor boys: the eldest son Brad (Zachary Ty Bryan), middle son Randy (Jonathan Taylor Thomas), and youngest son Mark (Taran Noah Smith).
Bryan, who is now 44, is currently serving a 16-month sentence in a California jail stemming from a 2024 DUI arrest. Bryan has been arrested on multiple DUI and domestic violence charges in the past several years. In addition, an Oregon judge recently sentenced Bryan to 19 months behind bars in that state due to violating his probation on a 2023 domestic violence conviction.
Meanwhile, Bryan’s onscreen brothers are no longer acting and haven’t been onscreen for many years. Smith’s last acting credit was a voice role in the show “Batman Beyond” in 1999.

I bought breakfast at the farmers markets from a stall that used ai art on their menu. The food was pretty bland. New rule, I will not order food from anyone that uses AI art in their shop/stall.

Thinking of a category of high concept films that were done better in single Red Dwarf episodes. So far I’ve got Tenet, which is just a long version of Backwards, and the Sacha Baron Cohen film Ladies First is just a rip off of Parallel Universe

Finally saw Obsession and that lived up to the hype. Absolute banger of a horror film. Also I saw it at South Bank and despite being out for a month it was in cinema 5 (the old imax screen) and was packing them in with a very young crowd. Really cool to see.

Saw beetlejuice the musical the other night and it was fun, great sets and performances but pretty forgettable music overall. I think we have reached the limit of popular movie to stage musical. I don’t want to see Barbie the stage musical or transformers the musical.

You can get tickets for her remaining Brisbane shows for $75 to $99 for cheap seats and it’s not a bad night out for that amount. I don’t think it’s worth the $180 plus tickets though.
