At 9:21p on 7/3, TFD responded to a reported structure fire in the 1300 block of Tharpe St. Upon arrival, crews found a 3-story apartment building with fire in a 2nd-floor unit. They made entry & quickly extinguished a kitchen fire, preventing further damage. All occupants safe.

Yesterday, the Tallahassee Fire Department responded alongside our first responder partners to the reports of an active shooting incident at FSU. Our crews were quickly on scene to provide emergency care to those injured and to assist wherever we were needed.
