Extra food assistance through SNAP will end in February! Update your income and make sure your budget is correct.

Families receiving food assistance through SNAP should prepare for the end of the increase in benefits that helped address food insecurity during the pandemic due to recent federal legislation. In March the additional benefits won't be issued.

#Medicare open enrollment began earlier this month. About 7 in 10 beneficiaries say that they didn’t compare their coverage options during a recent open enrollment season. Not shopping around can have a big impact on enrollees’ coverage and costs.

Washtenaw County has launched a 24/7 phone-line for mental health and substance use support. Call 734-544-3050 to reach a local mental health professional as quickly as possible. Individuals can also call or text 988 to access chat and text functions.

Note for those who get tests through Project ACT: The FDA granted a 3 month shelf-life extension for the iHealth COVID-19 Antigen Rapid Test, which extended the shelf-life of all iHealth tests with expiration dates on or before 2022-09-29 (YYYY-MM-DD) from 6 months to 9 months.
