He was my criminal law professor. First class on my first day of law school. There’s too much to say about him. The mental ass-kicking he dealt out on the daily shaped me. He helped me make the jump from linguistics to law.
The first day, his first cold call was on the girl at the end of the alphabet, asking the question about R. v. Dudley & Stephens, “Who is Regina?”
