I’ve always stood up for what I believed in and am so proud to be able to do that alongside @bne_lordmayor and my incredible @team_schrinner colleagues. Being Deputy Mayor is a huge honour and big responsibility, and I’m as dedicated as ever to ensure we keep Brisbane moving.

Have you had a negative experience at a polling booth? Good democracy should be robust and competitive but never violent or abusive.

Sadly polling stations are becoming increasingly unsafe for voters, candidates and volunteers. Countless people have shared these concerns with me, yet they were ignored altogether in the 2024 Local Government Election Review.

There's a real risk people will stop turning up to polling booths and won't want to represent their community if this abuse and violence continues. And that would be an appalling outcome for democracy. Share your experience here: adrianschrinner.com.au/elect…

The biggest hole Tracey Price and Labor have to fill today is the $1.5 billion blackhole in their costings.💰

Tracey Price and Labor can pull all the stunts they want, but what they are really trying to do today is make $1.5 billion in big-spending promises magically disappear. 🎩🪄

With costs escalating, you can either spend less or charge more. We’ve put our hand up for sensible savings. The Green/Labor Coalition of Chaos has opposed savings, which means they’ll force bigger rate rises onto Brisbane households. Talk about wrong priorities.

.@crcunningham: The State Valuer-General has advised the Brisbane local government area will not be revalued in the coming year. What some may not realise is ratepayers have to pay the State a fee for valuations, whether the work is undertaken or not. #qt #bnepol

Brisbane residents will have a choice between stability or a destructive Green/Labor coalition of chaos at the next election. Our stable, experienced team is committed to keeping costs down while building the road, transport, parks and playgrounds that Brisbane’s suburbs need.

The destructive Greens' dodgy power-sharing deal with Labor will create a coalition of chaos that will drive up rates, slash road spending and cut basic rubbish collection. Brisbane residents can’t afford a destructive Green/Labor coalition of chaos.

REVEALED: Clueless Cassidy’s footpath manifesto… rip down thousands of trees and rob Brisbane residents of their right to be consulted. #noconcretejungle

Clueless Cassidy likes to talk a big game on housing. So do the destructive Greens. But as soon as any proposal for more homes is put on the table, they retreat to full-blown NIMBY-ism.

Our Budget strikes a balance between keeping costs down and delivering for Brisbane’s future. Meanwhile, Clueless Cassidy’s thought-bubble policies would punch a $100 million-a-year black hole in Brisbane’s budget.
