For nearly thirteen years I've been relatively happy using this service through a third-party app. Recently it's been great because I could just read the people I follow. No algorithmic feed or other bullshit

Yesterday on my bus ride home from work, that appears to have ended. If I am ever able to access twitter again via my favorite app, I might be back. If not, it's been great. Farewell to all my tweeps. I've enjoyed learning from you. And for you, @elonmusk, a hearty fuck off

The second half of 2022 knocked me clean out of my comfort zone. Way out. It’s been a while since that last happened. 2023 will be interesting if nothing else.

certainly possible to read this as domestic gladio, but reading between the lines it seems like having a grandfather who’s a state representative in an entirely different state is enough to just make everything up until a mass shooting go away for you
Replying to @AP
The Colorado gay nightclub shooting suspect boasted during a bomb threat last year about plans to become “the next mass killer,” according to sealed documents verified by the @AP. But authorities dropped all charges and didn’t try to take away any guns. apnews.com/article/colorado-…

If you are here in the USA, and you are legally allowed to do so, please take the time to vote today. It matters a lot.

Anyone else among my SEA tweeps ever have trouble with billing from First Hill Surgery? I paid the same bill from them 3 times. And then they sent me to collections for it. Took 2 calls, waiting on hold for more than 120 minutes total, and several emails to get it resolved.

If you fuck up regularly, and make it hard enough to correct your mistakes that folks without the means just give up? It’s hard to argue that your “mistakes” are anything other than policy.

Well that was interesting. Car HD radio on a single frequency hopping at random intervals between two very different radio stations. The Cure “Just Like Heaven” jump cut with U2 “I still haven’t found what I’m looking for” brain hurts from trying to keep both songs in my head

Good.
The 8th Circuit Court of Appeals just said that Arkansas cannot enforce its 2021 law banning gender-affirming medical care for transgender youth.

There has to be a special word for the kind of tired you are after three straight days of 4 hour zoom “on site” interview loops.

Only 19. So much potential lost. Peace to you, Serge. Following this account is painful but important.

Let’s show Senate Republicans how out of touch they are: RT if you agree that women should have the right to make their own health care decisions, the right to birth control, access to family planning services, and the ability to travel across state lines to get health care.

My grandmother had polio as a child and walked with leg braces. My mother has spent a significant part of her life fighting for the eradication of this disease. We had it on the ropes. It was nearly gone. Globally. This news is absolutely tragic.
BREAKING: The first case of POLIO has hit New York and may be the "tip of the iceberg" as a new trend of avoiding the vaccine gains popularity. What do you think about that?
