A collaboration! We have got our heads together with our long-standing customers at the White Horse, Edwardstone to brew this lovely session beer using Tom Norton's own organically-grown floor-malted barley and the finest US cascade hops which money can buy. @EdwardstoneWH
We are joined today by our friends Dani and Tom from the White Horse Edwardstone, for the brewing of Loveleys Fair (a straw-coloured 4% beer) using Tom's own organic barley malt. Don't worry, Tom agreed to leave all of his wild yeasts at home! @edwardstonewh
It's new beer brew day and our faces lit up when we opened up these hops. The beer will be a few weeks in the making but well worth waiting for, we think.
We last brewed this in 2016, apparently - the super-duper Summit hops from the US are not always available! Arriving in draught form at discerning local outlets from next week onwards.
With thanks to the gentleman who donated this thermometer to us today. Proper old school beer cellar thermometer - Fahrenheit, with not a hint of Celcius!
The new Amarillo pump clips have arrived from #innprint. Looking good! Did we mention that Amarillo is the new Supreme Champion Beer of Britain 2024? 😀
No better pint to celebrate Cask Ale Week than a super charged Brewers Gold Extra from Essex’s oldest brewery still brewing, @crouchvale
It’s a glorious pint.
