Part of the reason I don’t care for the Billy Shears stuff is because I think mustache Paul is so peak and half the time people draw fanart of him in that era it’s of Fake Evil Paul and not of Real Paul. Which is a shame.

the fact that Paul’s social circle in the mid 60’s was rather entwined with gay men prominent in the arts scene…like even if you don’t think Paul has a little sugar in his tank he certainly liked getting lots of attention from queer men.
