Happened to be in Florida for the first night launch of the space shuttle.. the Columbia. That was absolutely incredible! You could read a book from 7 miles away.. where I took these pictures. The sound actually "rips" like it does on TV. Words cannot do justice!

Roger sadly passed on August 24th, 2024. He was recently diagnosed with cancer and took his last breaths surrounded by family. We know how much his online connections meant to him and we are grateful for the impact you made on his life.

The funeral is scheduled for Thursday September 5th at 2pm at Restland Cemetery in Dallas and visiting hours will precede the ceremony the same day at 1pm. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the GoFundMe page to help cover any medical costs.

Yesterday was the worst birthday EVER. Other than my kids, I only heard from two people.. one was my sister in law. Shows how few friends I really have. Yay. Roger out.
