🌍 Today, 5 June 2026 is #WorldEnvironmentDay2026! From source to sea, our environment is connected. Every piece of litter, every pollutant, and every drop of contaminated water can move through rivers and estuaries to the ocean, affecting ecosystems along the way. Understanding where pollution comes from, how it moves, and its impacts is key to protecting these interconnected environments. #TeamCSIR works to monitor and understand these connections, providing the science needed to support healthier environments for people and nature. Together, we can help protect the ecosystems that sustain us.
