3rd and final day, good hour on the drag brush before applying some goodies to the surface before seeding , a few little bits for me and Charlie to complete but we are finished for the pitch, 26/27 season loading β¦

Day 2β¦.. more work to expose the kerb line around the pitch π«© some hand stitching on small areas that were damaged last year which we didnβt know about until yesterday! New centre sprinkler heads and 90t of dressing to replace what was removed yesterday ππ» seed in tomorrow π€

Double pass over with the koro removing the old surface, new perimeter sprinklers in place and the start of revealing an existing kerb edge around the perimeter

Iβm always honest to people when they ask how the pitch is, at the minute, itβs not good 5 games in heavy rain through nov /dec, training and international fixtures has taken its toll, the 2nd of 3 home games in 10 days tonight. Personally disappointed but things will get better

Our last 4 games plus a training session have been played in heavy rain, meaning the pitch has started to suffer quite badly, a small break allowing some vital TLC, trying a few new ideas to promote new growth π€π»

Been a long time coming, but we now have 6 of our new @SGLsystem LED lighting rigs on the pitch to aid recovery and bring a better playing surface for the players, 3 more incoming! Massive investment yet again by the club πͺ @BCFC
