Last night, at the end of @cssconfbudapest, the amazing people at #budapestbikemaffia delivered about 130 portions of leftover meal to a shelter.

ALT Kathrin talked about pros and cons of using CSS in JS with the styled-components package or web pack. Her protipp: if you can’t name something, you don’t need it. Alan spoke about how we can all improve the web by adding and voting on browser bugs. Yu Ling and France then spoke about how we can improve communications between Devs and Designers: clarify responsibilities, centralize mockups & involve everybody.
ALT Mike talked about how CSS architecture patterns can helps us write more maintainable CSS using SMACSS (scalable modular architecture for CSS) and BEM (Block, Element, Modifier). David spoke about finite state machines in CSS to manage and visualize complex states of components. Steven gave a neat introduction into CSS animations to bring the web to life again with animations that delight, inform and confirm.
