Engineers: โ€œThis is a breakthrough in soft robotics.โ€ Twitter: โ€œBro built an AI vibrator.โ€ ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ Researchers at the University of Southern Denmark created a soft robot that moves by inflating and contracting its body like a worm. Jokes asideโ€ฆ robots like this could actually be useful for rescue missions and environments where traditional robots fail. But letโ€™s be honest: you already know what most comment sections are going to talk about ๐Ÿ’€ ๐ŸŽฅ Media: @SDUSoftRobotics โš ๏ธ This content is shared for informational purposes only. Most people have no idea what the red ring is for. ๐Ÿ‘€ But without it, some machines would literally shake themselves apart. Engineering is often about solving problems nobody notices. Until something fails. โš ๏ธ This content is shared for informational purposes only. CTO Robotics Media is a media platform and does not own or develop the technology shown. Everyone thinks it's easy... until they try to build one. ๐Ÿ‘€ - A few sensors. - A few motors. - A few lines on the floor. So why is it moving this fast without crashing? What's the most impressive part? ๐ŸŽฅ Media: Robotics Championship Oradea (Instagram) โš ๏ธ This content is shared for informational purposes only. SpaceX, led by Elon Musk, has filed an application with the U.S. Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to launch up to one million satellites into space to power artificial intelligence (AI). The goal is to build solar-powered orbital data centers that can handle massive AI computing demand more efficiently than Earth-based systems, which require large amounts of electricity, land, and water for cooling. The project would massively expand SpaceXโ€™s existing Starlink network, which already has nearly 10,000 satellites and has faced criticism over space congestion, something Musk has denied. The satellites could begin launching around 2028 using Starship rockets and would operate between 500 and 2,000 km above Earth. SpaceX says the system could eventually deliver computing power for billions of users and help move toward a future where humanity can harness the full energy of the Sun, often described as a โ€œKardashev Type IIโ€ level civilization. However, scientists warn that such a huge megaconstellation could worsen space congestion and interfere with astronomy, adding to existing concerns about satellite interference from Starlink. @elonmusk @SpaceX @Tesla @Tesla_AI , @teslaownersSV , @robotaxi , @Tesla_Optimus #SpaceX #ElonMusk #AI #Satellite #OrbitalDataCenters #Space #Technology

One tiny leak. One very expensive problem. ๐Ÿ‘€ This tool can stop leaks in seconds. The interesting part? Some of the most valuable engineering innovations aren't flashy. They just prevent disasters before they happen. Would you rather detect a problem early... or fix it after it happens? ๐ŸŽฅ Media: Leak Stop Gun GmbH , Leak Stop Gun Americas โš ๏ธ This content is shared for informational purposes only. Kids see a toy. Engineers see control theory. ๐Ÿ‘€ This tiny self-balancing robot can recover, stabilize itself, and move across a rope without falling. The interesting part? The technologies behind future robots often start as simple experiments and educational toys. Every advanced robot begins with a basic physics lesson. ๐ŸŽฅ Media: Gyro robot โš ๏ธ This content is shared for informational purposes only. Gravity is trying its best. This controller is trying harder. ๐Ÿ‘€ A triple inverted pendulum is one of the hardest control problems in engineering. - One tiny mistake. - One delayed correction. - And everything falls apart. Yet somehow, it keeps balancing. Thousands of corrections every second. Would you trust software to keep this stable? ๐ŸŽฅ Media: Embedded Control Lab ( Youtube ) โš ๏ธ This content is shared for informational purposes only. This machine judges 2,000 tomatoes per minute. ๐Ÿ…๐Ÿ‘€ - No breaks. - No distractions. - No bad days. Just thousands of decisions every 60 seconds. At what point does AI become a better inspector than humans? โš ๏ธ This content is shared for informational purposes only. A robot cleaning a room doesn't sound impressive. Until you realize every sock, shirt, towel, and object is different. ๐Ÿ‘€ Factories are easy. Bedrooms are chaos. And chaos is where robotics gets really hard. The day robots can reliably clean a messy room... they can probably do a lot more than that. ๐ŸŽฅ Media: @VMises76153 ( X ) โš ๏ธ This content is shared for informational purposes only. Bricklayers watching this ๐Ÿ˜ Construction companies watching this ๐Ÿ‘€ This robot can lay bricks all day without breaks, without fatigue, and with millimeter-level precision. The scary part? For decades, automation transformed factories. Now it's moving onto construction sites. ๐Ÿšจ BREAKING: @NEURARobotics just raised $1.4B in the largest full-stack robotics funding round ever recorded. Investors include @nvidia , @amazon , @Qualcomm , @BoschGlobal , @SchaefflerGroup , @tether , and the @EIB , one of the most cross-sector investor coalitions we've seen in deep tech. The capital goes toward scaling the Neuraverse (their cloud platform connecting all robots into one continuously learning network), rolling out NEURA Gyms globally (physical training facilities generating real-world robot training data), and ramping vertically integrated manufacturing toward multi-million units by 2030. Founded in Metzingen, Germany in 2019 by David Reger, the man who coined the term "cognitive robotics." Series B was โ‚ฌ120M just 18 months ago. This is what hypergrowth looks like in physical AI.
