Today, RDB Deputy CEO @JulianaMuganza participated in the 2nd Edition of the @RwandaGBSGrowth Sector Policy Roundtable, which brought together government, industry, and development partners to discuss the growth and competitiveness of Rwanda’s Global Business Services (GBS) sector. “GBS is not a niche opportunity – it sits at the heart of where Rwanda is heading. As we work to establish Rwanda as a regional hub for services, technology, finance, and innovation, knowledge-intensive industries represent one of our clearest pathways to quality jobs, export earnings, and the kind of economy our young people can genuinely thrive in.” The discussion focused on positioning Rwanda as a leading destination for high-value digital services, including AI, cybersecurity, data analytics, and advanced business operations.

🇱🇷🇷🇼 Today, we are honored to welcome a delegation from the Republic of Liberia’s Office of the Cabinet and the Ministry of State for Presidential Affairs for a week-long study visit to Rwanda. The visit focuses on public sector governance, public financial management, and institutional efficiency. Throughout the week, the delegation will engage with key institutions, including @RwandaFinance , @PrimatureRwanda , @GovernanceRw , @RwandaLabour , @RISARwanda , and @IremboGov , to explore Rwanda’s approaches to planning, budgeting, performance management (Imihigo), and the implementation of the E-Cabinet system. The delegation will also conduct field visits to observe local government coordination and citizen-centered development frameworks in practice.

Today, the Mayor of @CityofKigali, Samuel Dusengiyumva, joined global leaders at the 10th World Cities Summit in #Singapore and participated in a panel discussion themed “Cities for People Leadership: Are Cities Good for Your Health?”, exploring key challenges related to urban liveability and sustainability. During the session, Mayor @dusengiyumvas highlighted #Kigali’s bold vision for advancing smart, inclusive, and resilient urban planning. Later in the afternoon, High Commissioner @IBMuhizi received him for a courtesy call at our office. Their discussion covered a wide range of issues, including opportunities to deepen bilateral collaboration with Singaporean urban and infrastructure developers.
