We are on the countdown now to Royal Ascot and Joliestar is settling in well. It was great to have Sir Brendan and Lady Jo Lindsay visit this morning.

Chris and Zane are back, with Charlie over in England settling Joliestar into her new surrounds. Big week for the stable, headlined by a four-timer at Canterbury on the public holiday - Miss Scandal, Hello Captain, Ballpark and Sting In The Tail all saluting on the day. Miss Lola won at Sandown and Le Troisir was another winner during the week, with Bluepinot rounding things out in Queensland. Fangirl heads the stable's hand in the G1 Stradbroke, Tron Bolt is the short-priced favourite for the G1 JJ Atkins with Stormy Marco also in the mix, and the Q22 looks a strong opportunity with Asterix, Militarize and defending champion Kovalica all lining up. Hutchence contests the G2 Brisbane Cup over two miles. Rosehill also hosts a strong card on Saturday with Caboche among the feature race runners, and plenty more across the weekend. It was exciting to have our first winner today by Home Affairs - Miss Scandal. He is doing a fantastic job at stud and it’s great to see his progeny performing well. Big week to reflect on, with Providence taking out the G1 Queensland Derby for the Newgate crew, Tron Bolt continuing his rise and Sounds Unusual producing a strong finish down the outside at Rosehill. God's Window and Ertijaaj also got the job done with Velaris and Canpikapony rounding out the week. The boys having a morning at the beach this morning - Providence, Sixties, Stormy Marco, Kilman & Monopolistic ⭐️

It was a privilege to train Providence to victory in the Group 1 Queensland Derby, becoming the first Southern Hemisphere Group 1 winner for @CoolmoreAus Wootton Bassett. Congratulations to @NewgateFarm , their partners and everyone involved, who not only celebrated a Group 1 winner but also quinellaed the race with Monopolistic running a brave second. A fantastic result and a day to remember. The Rosehill team also enjoyed a winning treble. Tron Bolt stamped himself as a leading JJ Atkins contender with an impressive victory, while Ertijaaj, a daughter of Golden Slipper winner Estijaab, made it two wins from two starts to give the stable a race trifecta. Sounds Unusual rounded out the day with a tough win for the Muollo family, fighting hard to hold off Belle Detelle. With Menthon and Canpikapony also saluting, it was another very successful day for the stable. Congratulations to all of our owners, staff and supporters who make days like these possible.

Pinito also saluted at Doomben, while Tazima, Declichy Boulevard, God's Window and Invader Zim all won at Randwick to round out a memorable day. A devoted family man with a beautiful young family, Lofty is still always the first to work and the last to leave. His dedication, loyalty and passion for the racing industry is something that simply can’t be measured in words.
