On Sunday I went to sea level to fly my drone near Marino Rocks. I havenāt been this close to the water since the algal bloom has caused the devastation that weāve all been seeing in our feeds. It was truly sad.

The few skeletal remains appear to have been small salmon based on the colour of the remains. Otherwise all of them were mostly intact. Not sure what can be done but I sure hope it turns around.

All of these photos were captured in a stretch of coastline less than 500m in length. I cannot image how many I didnāt see in the same area as I pretty much walked straight through. Odd as well that most of them have been untouched by the birds or other scavengers.
