I've built an Obsidian plugin, CLI and MCP server to define note types in Obsidian. All metadata and tags documented, folder paths, templates, default values, required and optional fields etc.
Now AI can perfectly understand my vault and notes. It puts them where they belong, use the right templates and metadata, etc. Huge leap forward in terms of quality and consistency.

Steps to become a senior programmer:

/teach me how to be a great strategic programmer. My opinion is that AI is eating 'tactical, on-the-ground' programming. The day-to-day work of a developer involves not only coding, but also planning, QA, codebase design, and much more. I'm interested in learning the strategic skills - that, in a previous era, would take me from junior to senior - but in this era are table stakes.
5. Paste it into the coding agent

I'm testing Claude Fable 5 today. Quite interesting to see; it's really impressive compared to Opus 4.8. I one-shot this game I wanted to create for years but never had time to.

Why does AI work so well inside Obsidian Starter Kit v4?
Because notes are strongly typed.
The starter kit plugin defines note types: folders, templates, properties, mappings, tags, allowed values, name prefix/suffix etc.
AI uses a CLI to introspect this structure on the fly.
That's why it never puts things in the wrong place.
Foundation matters.
