Dealing with difficult parents; 2. Connecting and engaging with kids to inspire them to be more committed; 3. Arguments and disputes with committees / boards; 4. Accessing the right facilities and equipment; 5. Balancing life, family, your own health and coaching; 6. Money; 7. Politics with the local, regional, state, national body; 8. Promoting and growing your program; 9. Lack of clear vision and strategy of the club and program you work for; 10. Dealing with bureaucracy, licenses, insurance, safety regulations etc. Now look at the above list and tell me which sport includes units, modules and learning activities for the real issues coaches face day to day? You can't produce doctors by making them study plumbing! You can't produce pilots by making them study dentistry! Coach coaches to coach!

Hey folks Especially S&C folks in the greater Dublin area. I’m looking for somewhere to meet and test (no special equipment needed) athletes on a monthly basis for next 6 months. In an absolutely ideal world there would be a field or track beside a gym with an assault bike include.d. And the usual racks etc. Any help greatly appreciated. @irishscnetwork @sportireland
