People love showing disbelief and anger that bands come from money, but if no-one other than wealthy parents are supporting young bands to pursue their musical careers then that’s not going to change. I don’t think The Last Dinner Party are the problem

R. I. P. Lata Mangeshkar. On this album alone she sings in six different languages. Over her career she recorded songs in more than 30 different languages. Extraordinary.

One of the most perfect bands of all time, The (English) Beat made 3 stellar albums then bounced. Each member brought a unique influence: Pop, Motown, Punk, Ska/Reggae. Everett Morton was the calypsonian drummer who skillfully held it all together. R.I.P. youtu.be/kCCmUQTe_po

More “People Doing Weird Things With Their Records”: This previous owner meticulously removed outer cellophane, then used it to line inner sleeve before inserting back into outer sleeve. Awesome.
