Genres these days are more like hashtags than filing cabinets. They're useful descriptors rather than strict rules.
Weāre shifting from "what genre is this?" to "what does this sound like and feel like?"
genres are multiplying fast š¶ spotify now lists over 6,000 of them, from āhyperpopā to ādrift phonkā to ācrust punk,ā with hundreds added in the last year alone.
but in 2025, do genres still matter? or are they losing meaning in an era of endless sound? drop your thoughts below š¤ā¬ļø

The AWS outage has impacted some of our users since last night, disrupting their sleep. That is not the experience we want to provide and I want to apologize for it.
We are taking two main actions:
1) We are restoring all the features as AWS comes back. All devices are currently working, with some experiencing data processing delays.
2) We are currently outage-proofing your Pod experience and we will be working tonight-24/7 until that is done.

Here are the details we have as of now:
CM Punk told at least one person close to him he had an hour long conversation with Triple H last week.
WWE staff, reps, creative had no idea. He walked through the back in plain site minutes before he appeared. They had cleared an area out.
Triple H took over calling the show in the last couple of minutes and called for the copyright logo. Even many in production didn't know.
