This is not contradicted by the fact that these are days of festivity, because that does not prevent acts of worship - rather, some of the greatest acts of worship have been legislated during them, such as the remembrance of Allah the Exalted.โ

The Days of Tashriq are, for the most part, days of heedlessness. Thus, the worshipper during these days attains extra merit - just like the one who stands in prayer during the depths of the night while most people are asleep.

Whoever missed the Day of โArafah, let him not miss the virtue of Yawm al-Qarr and the days that follow - for the bounty of Allah is continuous, His generosity is all-encompassing, and the seasons of goodness come one after another.
Today is Yawm al-Qarr, and it is among the greatest days in the sight of Allah. Dua made on this day, and on the two days that follow, is not rejected.
It has been authentically reported from the Prophet (๏ทบ) that he said: โThe greatest of days with Allah is the Day of Sacrifice (Yawm al-Nahr), followed by the Day of Rest (Yawm al-Qarr).โ
๐ Reported by Ahmad, Abu Dawud, and al-Hakim; authenticated by al-Albani in Sahih Abi Dawud (Vol. 6, p. 14, hadith no. 1549).

So raise your hopes and requests to Allah, the Mighty and Majestic.โ
