Nikki Bella revealed on the Nikki and Brie Show that she turned down an audition for a Baywatch project because she did not feel confident enough to wear a swimsuit on camera every day. Bella shared the story during a solo episode of the podcast while answering a fan question about confidence and self-image. "I had an audition for Baywatch. I ended up not doing it because I knew that I would not be comfortable wearing — or if I was to get it, I would not be comfortable wearing a red swimsuit, 24/7, because I am not confident yet in a swimsuit, so I didn't do it." Bella framed the choice as a lesson about putting yourself in positions where you can be confident. "It's certain things that what I've learned is I have to put myself in positions of like, where I feel most confident. When I'm walking down that ramp and I'm in my Nikki Bella gear, I am so confident." She also reflected on body image criticism she has received recently. "Someone made a comment about me last week, like, she didn't even say thick in a good way, like — she got bigger. And they could say all they want. The comment didn't even affect me.
