Last week, I achieved the huge milestone of defending my thesis. Every day Iām reminded of the amazing gift of education that so many people before me did not get the opportunity to experience. Lots of happy tears were shed!

ALT The 2023 Summer Undergraduate Research Education Program (SUREP), a 30 hour virtual program for students considering graduate school in psychology, will be held between May 11 and June 29, 2023. Priority deadline for application is April 5, 2023 and the regular deadline is April 19, 2023. Program participants will learn from experts in the field of psychology about their current research and their trajectory, work with current graduate students and faculty to create psychology graduate school application materials and prepare for graduate admissions, and explore how to design research questions to inform a viable research project.

Have you wondered who is more likely to ghost? In a new paper in @JoSoPerRel w/ co-first author @NatashaRWood, @RelationScience & Andrew Hale, we found that young adults with a high need for closure may be more likely to use ghosting, but they also hurt worse after being ghosted!
