Hi Catchers! π©΅π©·
We just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who dropped by our booth, βCactus Sugarland,β during the
#WILLCA fanmeet last November 5! π
When WCV was planning for the fanmeet, one of our communityβs goals was to support and feature local street vendors and small businessesβa humble yet meaningful way to give back and celebrate their hard work. Weβre so happy that this heartfelt idea came to life during the event.
For our booth, we were honored to feature Tatay Ronnie, a cotton candy vendor who has been making cotton candies for over 30 years. It has been his sole livelihood to support his family, and we were deeply touched by his dedication. Tatay Ronnie graciously accepted our invitation, staying for over ten hours and joyfully making more than 200 cotton candies for everyoneβalways with a smile. We also had the pleasure of meeting Nanay Beth, his lovely wife, who shared in the fun and warmth of the event.
Our heartfelt thanks also go to our booth designers, who poured their creativity and effort into bringing our vision to life despite a limited budget. They patiently stayed until the very end, ensuring everything went smoothly and beautifully.
To everyone who stopped by, enjoyed a free cotton candy, took photos, or simply shared a smile and kilig with usβthank you and we appreciate all of you. Please do tag us with your photos and videos.
Our goal, and we believe the Willcaville Community also, has always been to highlight the passion, resilience, and sincerity of hardworking people like Tatay Ronnie and other small business owners. We hope that through this, more will see the beauty and value in what they do because they deserve to be seen and celebrated.
Letβs continue to appreciate and uplift those who work hard and give their all every day.
For Will and Bianca always,
Cactus VT
