A journalist he says?? š You are to Journalism what Michael Jackson was to childcare
IMPORTANT CORRECTION
As a journalist I do try to be 100% on the facts and report on what is known and not believed.
During times of so much disinformation it's hard work to filter out the nonsense.
At the time of me reporting on this car crash at a Christmas event in Guadeloupe I sourced information from The Indian Express which is a center left publication, well renowned, and generally pretty reliable as sources go (although it has made mistakes in the past, as has every other news publication).
I led with what they reported at the time.
Obviously it has come to pass that 10 people were not killed, which means I reported incorrectly at the time.
Honesty and integrity is important to me, and I won't shy away from owning a mistake, which clearly in this case, I made.
I apologise for making this mistake.
