This is an absolutely mental idea for any level of cricket other than the very highest (where it is also a mad idea). Even I would average about 5 with the ball with an extra inch of stumps to hit

In 1931, due to the dominance of batters over bowlers, the wicket was enlarged from 8 inches to 9 inches wide and the stump height increased from 27 to 28 inches. Around the world, by and large, the bat is dominating the ball. Is it time to increase the size of the wicket again? For context, in 1798, stumps were only 24 inches tall. They increased to 26 inches in 1819 and to 27 inches in 1823.

Best 2 that I actually watched were the Pope 196 and Markram 106 at Newlands against India. Brook's triple and Jaiswal double up there as well for massive runs being scored very quickly.
