Fully Funded PhD Opportunities in Dr. Yunyao Li’s Group at the University of Texas at Arlington (GRE is required)
Dr. Yunyao Li is seeking a motivated PhD students to join her research group at the University of Texas at Arlington, starting in Fall 2026. These positions offer full tuition coverage and a stipend. The research will focus on air quality modeling, wildfire emissions, and the impact of climate change on air quality.

Candidate Requirements:
- A strong interest in atmospheric modeling, air quality forecast, climate change, thunderstorms, wildfires, or atmospheric dynamic.
- A master’s degree in atmospheric science or environmental science.
- Proficiency in programming and data analysis, with experience in at least one programming language (e.g., R, Python, MATLAB, FORTRAN, IDL, NCL, GIS, C, C ). Candidates with FORTRAN experience will be prioritized.
- Prior research experience in air quality modeling, climate, or earth system modeling is highly desirable.
