I call those guys out a lot, but not because im pro D.E.I. I actually think diversity for the sake of diversity is bad. I have plenty of tweets saying that. I simply see through these Anti-woke grifters disingenuous nature, and call them out on it. It has gotten to the point where EVERYTIME they see a black person, woman, or gay person, it is D.E.I or wokeness. The gaming conversations arent even about actual gaming anymore. It's what politics are in gaming- from journalist AND these anti woke idiots. Not to mention for a lot of them, the "D.E.I" phrase is just a way to mask their racism. They latch on to whatever ragebait they can find, and feed their audience without really any research, as I've highlighted, time and time again. They send their fanbase to attack developers for simply creating a game they disagree with. That is childish behavior and gross abuse of power that has no business in the gaming community.

I'm not much of a console player (Switch &... Steam Deck?), but the sunsetting of physical PC games has been a sad time for me. Things keep moving forwards, however. 😢

If some people can complain, they just will. When DA:O came out, I recall all sorts decrying the use of voice acting, feeling like it thinned the writing; if every little line had to be spoken, oh woe for the days of the expansive, grown up writing of BG. Ridiculous.
