Hockey is the most expensive team sport your child can play. Equipment costs alone are laughably higher than a recent report I came across. Are you spending over or under my closer-to-reality estimate?

The only thing better than the Stanley Cup Playoffs is an undrafted free agent goalie (Brandon Bussi) sealing the Championship for the #Canes

Are the the sound enineers at @ABCNetwork watching the World Cup? How can Sean McDonough and Ray Ferraro be so inaudible? This is terrible.

Staal is having a monster Stanley Cup Finals! Clutch.

I was one belly aching about the NHL reverting back to the 8 v 1 playoff format... And there's NO chance that Bettman reconsiders after game 3 of the Cup. I thought I was going to bed over an hour or 2 ago. What a game!

Are you participating in or attending the BFit Heroes Cup this weekend (June 5-7) at the New England Sports Center in Marlborough? I'll be there introducing my new apparel brand (Puck Motion) that's designed to help hockey families shrink their out-of-control stick expenses. How? Every Puck Motion apparel purchase nets you a $10 Stick Assist toward a stick repair or refurbished pro stock stick from Integral Hockey Lowell (my stick repair service). Stick repairs cost less than $100 and come with a lifetime warranty on the repair zone. Any break (shaft, blade, hosel) is fixable and saves you hundreds over a new stick replacement. Our patented process takes 7-10 days to complete and doesn't compromise a stick's weight, flex, balance or kick point. Stop by my vendor table (inside) to say hello, enter a raffle for a free stick repair, and to get some stylish new T-shirts for hockey beer-leaguers, tailgaters, and more. See you there!

Dubes isn't the reason the @CanadiensMTL are losing 3-0 after one. It wouldn't be unusual for a team to pull their goalie to give the team a jolt, but I don't see how Montreal can do that considering Dubes has played every minute of every #nhl playoff game.

What a Rock 'Em Sock 'Em offensive game between the Wild and Avalanche. 5-5 and the 3rd period hasn't even started.

Wow, the Canadians had 0 shots on net in the 2nd period. First time in their long postseason history. But they got 1 goal on only 4 shots in the 1st ...a deflection off of a Tampa player no less.

So much attention (deservingly) to the rookie o-line, but Aspirot is in the same boat and looking solid so far. A steady addition to the D with an excellent /- rating.

This may be a dumb question, but why are they singing Oh Canada before the start of the Boston v Buffalo game? Proximity to Canada?

Four milestone goals hang in the balance of the final Bs game: Pasta for 30, Geekie for 40, Kastelik for the hatty, and Hagens for his 1st NHL career goal. If the Bs only get one more in the 3rd, who do you want to get it?

I don't know how Korpisalo can wear his mask so low. It looks like he has to tilt his head up in order to see out of it Very uncomfortable looking to me. But whatever works.

What a snipe by the 30 (er, 24) year old Eernisse of Michigan to tie it.

I love all goalies. That said, how do you not root for 5'10" Fr. Johnny Hicks in net for Denver? The netminders of today's college and pro teams are 6 feet goon inches. Nothing wrong with size...it should just go both ways if you have the talent.

Almost 2 full minutes of 5 on 3 for UND. Legit calls?

Wow, @ColbyCohen36 just said he played with a 110 flex stick. I've repaired hundreds of college hockey sticks and the highest flex I've come across in 2 years is 95. Whippy is in.
