ALT 8 ways a child's anxiety shows up as something else. 1. Anger: The perception of danger, stress or opposition is enough to trigger the fight or flight response leaving your child angry and without a way to communicate why. 2. Difficulty sleeping: In children, having difficulty falling asleep or staying awake is one of the hallmark characteristics of anxiety. 3. Defiance: Unable to communicate what is really going on, it is easy to interpret the child's defiance as a lack of discipline instead of an attempt to control a situation where they feel anxious and helpless. 4. Chandeliering: when a seemingly calm person suddenly flies off the handle for no reason. They have pushed hurt and anxiety so deep for so long that a seemingly innocent comment or event suddenly sends them straight through the chandelier. 5. Lack of Focus: 6. Avoidance. 7. Negativity: People with anxiety tend to experience negative thoughts at a much greater intensity than positive ones. 8. Overplanning.

I know that a lot of parents feel like @FortniteGame is an opponent they need to fight, but if Epic made a Fortnite-themed Engineering Game that borrowed some of the building mechanics then there are a lot of parents that would begin to see it as more of an ally. 8/?

Thank you, we’ve had enough bashing for awhile. We didn’t get into the profession for recognition, but sure nice to hear it sometimes. I breath a bit easier for my 3 yr old daughter and my students tonight.
For America’s educators, this is a great day: You’re going to have one of your own in the White House, and Jill is going to make a great First Lady.

This is great news. I don't know exactly which hospitals are most in need, but my understanding is NYC and Seattle hospitals are in acute danger. If you're a hospital with a ventilator shortage or someone in a position to compile a list, please let @elonmusk and me know here.
Tesla makes cars with sophisticated hvac systems. SpaceX makes spacecraft with life support systems. Ventilators are not difficult, but cannot be produced instantly. Which hospitals have these shortages you speak of right now?
