I've had an idea for a MG trilogy about kids fighting ghosts and other creatures for a while now. It all seemed overwhelming though. Tonight I think I figured out the through line, so no excuse not to get started. Here we go.

Did some writing for the first time this year tonight. Not on the project I should be working on. No, I decided to write the first few paragraphs to two completely unrelated projects. Good job, Dan. Way to focus.

We sang the hymn Come, Let Us Anew in church today, and the line, "For the arrow has flown and the moments are gone." stood out to me. Great reminder to leave the past behind and look toward the future.

For years we've had a white lotus tile sticker on our car. Today I was pulling into a parking lot and the car just ahead of me had the same sticker. I ended up talking to the driver and he was stoked. It was the first time either of us had met another member of the order. #atla
