The elimination of the 421a tax abatement will affect jobs that are created through new construction. The 421a program has created a high quality housing stock of affordable units. Without the abatement new construction in NYC doesn't pencil out.

Burst of demand from the economic reopening and fiscal #StimulusChecks compounded by supply bottlenecks has triggered #inflation. Eventually supply will catch up to demand. By comparison, the 10-year yield stood at 1.87% in late 2019 before the world was turned upside-down.
