Replying to @MeredithChaput
@MeredithChaput is anyone looking at torque variability in UE? Last 3 shoulder ASH tests have looked like this. Uninvolved on right, Involved on left. Similar peak but more "squiggly" on involved. Is this similar to what Dan Cobian has been seeing in quads?

Not sure if Dan Cobian is on twitter or I would have tagged him.
I'm sure this will be top notch! Vien and Erik are sure to deliver some quality content and you can always count on Vien to scratch your itch of SpongeBob memes too

Excited to speak at TRIA's 2022 Musculoskeletal Rehab Conf. I will be speaking about late rehab in a section w/ @erikMeira. I basically say do what Erik said, but heavier. All kidding aside, I think I will bring new perspective to needs analyses and ex rx. eventscribe.net/2022/PT/agen…

In one word, this slide pretty much sums up my portion of our talk last Friday at @aaspt_apta. Missing the mark on this is a lot more common in our profession than I used to acknowledge, myself included.

Grateful to have had the opportunity to speak there with @LauraOpstedal and Marisa Pontillo. Both have done great things in the profession to make us all better.

This is great! Just because you have someone emphasize the eccentric portion doesn't mean you are utilizing the greater force production that eccentric action affords. A true "eccentric" in the way we prescribe it requires a supramaximal concentric load
About 40% is the answer (how much stronger you are eccentrically than concentrically) but this lovely rugplot shows data for different joints and movements. Clinical gold if you think accurately prescribing eccentric overload matters (it does) Preprint: sportrxiv.org/index.php/serv…

Hey ATs #ATtwitter, many of you just had your EMR system switch, and new one not ideal yet. Here's my solution I made for the ATs as bugs are being fixed. Can save and upload log to new software once ready. Link: bit.ly/3PoTbVx youtube.com/watch?v=h0oo60Uj…

It was fun writing this and an honor to have it in the @jospt blog. Hopefully the example sessions with cues help but this into practice.. and not only for athletes but applications for gen pop too!

Good to see this from @JSCR. Participating in strength training improves sleep quality. A really underrated benefit of strength training IMO

Pumped to get our next study going. Start collecting data Monday. Loading patterns over time post TKR. 6 weeks, 3 mos, 6 mos, 1 year. Do they ever load symmetrically? Great to collaborate with @orthokansas on this.
