Phoenix College's Black Box Theater we staged a reading of "That Day in Tucson" celebrating the retirement of the playwright Guillermo Reyes and raising funds. A play about that day, brought to life. And they cast someone much more handsome to play me, so honestly a perfect night

Well there’s this special interest called the gun lobby and they convinced the GOP to embrace guns for anyone, anywhere and turned their base into rabid gun extremists and now over 120 people are killed by guns every day and politicians are routinely shot at or assassinated.

When you search Graham Platner’s past Reddit handle (P-Hustle) and guns, there’s a post from Christmas Eve in 2012 — 10 days after the Sandy Hook School mass shooting — claiming that people who support gun safety are “simple minded.”
Gun violence is the leading cause of death among US kids, but of the 26 policy positions on Platner’s website, there isn’t a single one about guns.
