Not much of a chance of this happening, but it’s nice to think about.
🚨 EXCLUSIVE: Tottenham have entered the race to sign Sandro Tonali! 💣🇮🇹 De Zerbi wants Tonali as new star for the midfield, ideal to step up #THFC level. Spurs ready to face Man City and Arsenal in the race for Tonali for new ambitious project to prove their intentions.

They’re going to need to get that weather report - taco comparison to understand when or when not to be worried.
The England squad were told to shelter indoors on Saturday evening after a tornado warning was issued in Kansas City. The players and staff also received an automated warning message on their phones saying 'Severe Thunderstorm Warning' [@TheAthleticFC]

I’m not sure what’s most surprising - Lalas swearing on live TV, or Lalas getting something right.
Alexi Lalas just called James Corden a “fucking wanker” on live TV and the reactions were incredible. Hero moment for him, IMO. #FIFAWorldCup

Huge test here for the board and the “give de Zerbi what he wants” crowd. If this is what he is sanctioning in order to get the player he really wants, of course.
🚨 EXCL: Brighton & Hove Albion make £30m offer to sign Luka Vuskovic from Tottenham Hotspur. 19yo #THFC talent among Europe’s most coveted players but Croatia defender favours #BHAFC as best step for development mutual trust with Hurzeler @TheAthleticFC nytimes.com/athletic/7347335…

Phew. Didn’t think there was any chance at all that he’d miss all of our games but be fit for the World Cup. 🙃
🚨 #THFC Captain Cristian Romero returned to the pitch last night following his MCL injury which saw him sidelined for the remainder of the season. He posted on Instagram with the caption “So nice to be back” 🇦🇷

This is brilliant.
I am going to apologise in advance as this game is so addictive but you need to play it and no it's not an ad I promise. It's called sete a zero and you had to build a team picking a player from historic and current World Cup squads. You can go from Ireland 2002 to Brazil 1970 as you roll the dice. You can skip a team if you don't like the look of any of the players but you can only skip a maximum of 3 teams. Once your team is picked the game then simulates to see if you'd win the World Cup. It is solid haha and my only tip is focus on decent full backs there are so few out there 7a0.com.br/en/play?mode=clas…

Just saw @orangecassidy at the airport waiting for a flight with Wheeler Yuta. I didn’t say hello, but I did put my sunglasses on my shirt and hands in my pockets in appreciation.

How long are the Lewis family and Vinai Venkatesham going to keep indirectly blaming Daniel Levy for their own shortcomings? He was removed from his position almost 9 months ago. Whose choice was it to stick with Thomas Frank when we were plummeting down the table? Who decided that ‘we wouldn’t panic’ in January at the peak of our injury crisis? Who oversaw the Igor Tudor debacle? All these decisions took us to the brink of relegation. By their own admission they say that they ‘trust the experts’ in the running of the football club. The issue here is they can’t even appoint individuals fit for purpose. They currently employ a non-executive chairman who, until recently, was unaware it takes 11 players to form a football team. How can anyone have any confidence that these people are fit to lead this football club? They haven’t just stumbled into this mess. They’ve had 25 years to get this right. Rebranding to ‘the Lewis family’ doesn’t suddenly give them a new lease of life.

I’d love to read the ones that they had prepared had we got relegated.
The Lewis family, Charrington & Vinai releasing statements about Spurs is laughable at this point. The same people who helped create the mess now pretending to care about fixing it. If their lips move, they’re lying. If they write a press release, they’re lying professionally.

Thank goodness we had people making good football first decisions when appointing Tudor and overseeing the January transfer window….. oh.
🚨🎙️ Vinai Venkatesham has ADMITTED that football has NOT been the centre of priority at #THFC: 😳 “In all the big decisions the club has made, I don’t think ruthlessly prioritised is this decision going to be a decision that that is going to help us get more points on the pitch, which is going to help us be successful” 😬

I think we need a new right winger ahead of a right cb. Although both are needed. And probably a cheap and experienced English keeper.
Agree with pretty much all of these calls - although that statement from Palhinha makes me think he may well be off to Portugal. If so, and if we did make the sales mentioned sign Robertson & Senesi, our squad would look something like this:

Don’t think we’ll spend big on a keeper. Desperately need at least one RW, two LW, maybe another 10 and at least one if not two strikers. So much work to do, which is why Robertson and Senesi make perfect sense.

We definitely need an English keeper, but I can’t see us spending good money on Trafford now that Kinsky has made the number 1 shirt his own.
Tottenham have sounded out Karl Darlow while James Trafford is another firmly on the club’s radar. As per @SimonJones_DM #THFC #SPURS #COYS #TOTTENHAM

The phrase “we will” is doing a tremendous amount of heavy lifting in this. Hopefully actions back that up, but they need to start very quickly - with a complete revamp of the player purchasing, development and treatment.
