Asked folks what they actually want from a SIEM. the answer: just make it work, and a little AI is fine.
So I built nano, an open-core (AGPL), rust on clickhouse, fast search, a real detection lifecycle, 1-line install.

It ended up doing really well tbh, 30 findings within 20 minutes, had claude fix em and re-validate completely.. not bad.

I've been working on building a new SIEM platform.. little taste below -- yes, it does have AI all in it, but I've been spending countless hours on speed of search to cost value, the entire project is written in Rust with Clickhouse as the db.. it's fast 👀

I made a thing - QSI. It's a URL scanner I built from scratch that utilizes LLM to help with decision making. So far in my testing it has worked well.
