Asked folks what they actually want from a SIEM. the answer: just make it work, and a little AI is fine. So I built nano, an open-core (AGPL), rust on clickhouse, fast search, a real detection lifecycle, 1-line install. Let me know what you think! nano.rs

Weird they didn't say "if you did click any links reset your creds and and mfa immediately and contact support" but yeh.. this was a good one.
On Sunday evening, some customers received a falsified email from noreply@robinhood.com with the subject line “Your recent login to Robinhood.” This phishing attempt was made possible by an abuse of the account creation flow. It was not a breach of our systems or customer accounts, and personal information and funds were not impacted. If you received this email, please delete it and do not click any suspicious links. If you have clicked a suspicious link or have any questions about your account, please contact us directly within the Robinhood app or website: robinhood.com/us/en/support/

So cloudflare ai gateway it is eh.. 👀

It ended up doing really well tbh, 30 findings within 20 minutes, had claude fix em and re-validate completely.. not bad.
Claude code is so neat

I've been working on building a new SIEM platform.. little taste below -- yes, it does have AI all in it, but I've been spending countless hours on speed of search to cost value, the entire project is written in Rust with Clickhouse as the db.. it's fast 👀

This ended up being a great applied research project with @d_tranman on weaponizing a technique for fileless DCOM lateral movement based on the original work of @tiraniddo. Excellent work, Dylan! - Blog: ibm.com/think/news/fileless-… - PoC: github.com/xforcered/ForsHop…

Had a lot of fun digging into COM stuff with @bohops recently! We ended up finding a way to laterally move without dropping a file. ibm.com/think/news/fileless-…

I made a thing - QSI. It's a URL scanner I built from scratch that utilizes LLM to help with decision making. So far in my testing it has worked well. Give it a try and let me know how it goes. Sample: qsi.net/results/033ab65d-aa4…

I've spent the better part of the last 4 months off-work hours building this, so it's a lot of hours put into something I found to be very fun to build. I'll put out a blog in the near future about the process.
