A common reason for DAOs to fail is that they attract people who want to get airdrops, do nothing (or only vote) and wish to make a profit.
It's important for DAOs to know their ideal member profile. To do so, they should understand why they are a DAO in the first place.

- It's a nightmare if you need to "onboard" someone just so they can fix one small thing on the map
- You likely won't be able to pay people upfront meaningfully either, because the value doesn't materialize until a tipping point.
