The US government, citing national security authorities, has issued an export control directive to suspend all access to Fable 5 and Mythos 5 by any foreign national, whether inside or outside the United States, including foreign national Anthropic employees. The net effect of this order is that we must abruptly disable Fable 5 and Mythos 5 for all our customers to ensure compliance. Access to all other Claude models is not affected. I planted a Blue Dream cannabis plant two weeks ago, and it hasn’t shown much growth. It’s also starting to turn yellow. To give it some support, I mixed up a feed that I’ll apply tonight using cow manure, molasses, Epsom salt, and water. Hopefully it helps improve its health and encourages new growth.

Codex extra high on fast mode is a great way to validate user flows. Define the flow, open the app in the in app browser, and watch it attempt to repro. Take next steps depending on the result. Repeat.

I’ve been using the codex app to clean up my computer, my workflows, and ultimately harvest time back lost in context switching and just getting distracted from apps popping up when I start up. Using codex to clean up my Mac is deeply satisfying.

Another Codex win: I pulled a Drop ENTR mechanical keyboard off the shelf after ignoring it since 2023. In under an hour, Codex Computer Use helped map it to my Mac muscle memory, dial in Wispr Flow, and turn it into a daily keyboard Im excited to use.

✅ success. Connected to the laptop using chrome Remote Desktop. I can close the laptop while plugged in and connect to it from anywhere. It’s super slow and virtually unusable…but all the same a fun experiment.
