My dad defied the doctors & stuck around long enough to meet & get to know his granddaughter which I am so grateful for.
They became great pals & had many lovely times together.
This poem, which means a lot to me, was published in the recent issue of Flare.

Please read this short story by @trent_lewin. I can't imagine anyone else pulling off a gut punch like this without Trent's optimistic worldview and deep caring for the reader.
