On a more wholesome note a pic of me (one with the AR15) and my twin brother @Retarded_Shadow (goober with the 300 Win mag). I love this man to death and would kill for him, go give him a follow he’s a fellow army goon like me.

POV Katja gets a grenade thrown back at her
RE Fun Fact Friday #100 Soldiers of the Eckzahn Union have access to many different types of grenades, all depending on who they are and what they are doing. Simple high explosive grenades are issued to any grunt that could have a use for them, but disruptive EMP grenades are usually reserved for smaller tactical teams. High explosive grenades are the most common and widespread type, for obvious reasons. It's simple and effective. Why over complicate things, when a simple hand held explosive will do the trick 99% of the time. A chemical reaction causing an high energy explosion still has not gone out of style, but the Eckzahn have improved on them in some ways. The Eckzahn High Explosive grenades themselves are cylindrical with a flat top and base. The top has the pin and activation button. Once the pin is pulled the activation button will start the fuse. They have a custom fuse length, allowing for a longer or shorter time for the user to deliver it to its intended destination. A small dial at the top allows for fine adjustment. The bottom of the grenade allows for additional grenades to be connected, the bottom receptacle allows the activation button of another grenade to be inserted, connecting the two grenades. Once thrown, the two (or more) grenades will explode together. The bottom receptacle also allows for the attachment of a stick handle, to allow the user to throw the grenade further distances. These sticks are not required and many times Eckzahn soldiers forgo the sticks to be able to carry more grenades. Plasma grenades are the 2nd most common type. Just like the High explosive, they have many use cases. These plasma grenades are similar to the plasma blaster cartridges, but are designed to throw plasma in every direction. They are filled with energized gas, which upon the electronic fuse excites the gas, turning it into plasma in an explosive reaction. They are designed to deal with vehicles and fortifications with armor, but they also work well against softer targets. Plasma grenades create an explosion with a small radius of super hot plasma which will eviscerate anything within it, and will throw small fragments known as ‘ plasma slag’ in every direction, acting much like a fragmentation grenade. Some nations like the Commonwealth and Cuplor enforce strict regulations and punishments against the use of plasma grenades on individuals, seeing the act of vaporizing people with plasma as barbaric. But most nations only discourage its use. Eckzahn Aerosol grenades have many purposes. They are reusable containers that can disperse all sorts of smoke or gas. The outer shell can be used again, only needing to replace a container of whatever aerosol inside. The most prominent use is a Multispectral Aerosol, which blocks not only visible light, but almost all wavelengths on the electromagnetic spectrum, blocking enemy sensors from detecting anything behind it. This would be a fairly common use for these Aerosol grenades, with other aerosols being more for specialized units. Other uses for Aerosol grenades often are for crowd control. They can disperse a simple tear gas-like effect, causing an assault on the senses of anyone near. (Note for its use on Earth: Canine senses are much more sensitive, so Eckzahn gas grenades may not be as strong as those designed for humans). A more specialized version is Aerosol grenades with Neuro-Incapacitant effect, causing anyone who breathes the aerosol to quickly fall asleep. Flashbangs or just bangs are very simple non-lethal stun grenades. They make one (or a short series of) small, but very loud explosions designed to disorientate anyone in the vicinity. These grenades are not usually issued to every lowly soldier on every patrol. However they are normally used by more specialized units or police who may have to deal with civilians or other non-combatants. EMP or Electro Magnetic Pulse grenades are the most specialized of the bunch. This is because not only are they the most expensive by far, but can be easily misused. These EMP grenades send out a pulse of electromagnetic energy at programmable range to disable or potentially destroy certain electronic devices. So if not thrown or placed in exactly the right spot, the grenade could have little to no effect, or disable or damage friendly assets. They can be quite useful though, one well placed EMP grenade could disable a tank, or any vehicle for that matter. Whether a soldier in the Eckzahn Union gets issued any of these grenades depends on what his mission is. They are all trained to use all of them, but may not get a chance to actually use them in combat.

WIRED saying this like it’s a bad thing tells you everything you need to know about them, and the media in general.

I mean I can’t say I’m to familiar with them overall so I really don’t have an opinion. I mean I think the Russians (as a people not politically), Ukrainians and polish are kinda cool.
