Not a financial advice. Parallel (PRIME) sits at the crossover of GameFi (crypto) X AI. The offering is twofold - 1. Parallel Trading Card Game (TCG) 2. Parallel Colony, where your AI agents explore and extract resources from a mining colony. AI has been one of the hot trends for quite some time. Can be confirmed with Kaito's narrative mindshare (90D). Parallel Colony shows an interesting use of AI where avatars are able to interact with their holders (through not just commands but also by natural language) and propose strategies instead of only following what the players command. The TCG recently opened for public and Coinbase seems to be one of the distribution channels. All the claims, basically all the on-chain elements, related to game are moving to Base. It is one of the few games that's really carefully looking at the consumer side with merch like apparel, comics, etc. Now to the interesting part - One of the things we grappled with in the previous cycle was supply of tokens >> sinks. And game economies struggled to build sinks that were attractive. Beyond table stakes, PRIME, the utility and gov token of Parallel, has interesting existing and upcoming sinks. $PRIME has ~10Xed since August 2023 and smart money has been scooping it up since. Per Nansen, smart money balance has grown from 98K to over 1.8M since August 23. With TCG releasing to public and Colony (probably releasing in Q4?), Parallel is one of the interesting projects to watch.
