The hired bouncers, these guys in Black Safari suits are the first giveaway of what we call in Punjabi a FUDDU! I’ve known a guy use them and a rented BMW 520 (the cheaper 4 cylinder one) to impress a girl 🤣
Meet Aryan Verma, 21 yrs, R/o Shahjahanpur, UP > Father: Inspector in Horticulture Department > Mother: Govt school teacher > Failed to clear NEET twice > Wanted to become an army officer So, he dressed up as a brigadier with complete props: > SUV fitted with military insignia > air pistol > fake army ID > two bouncers to pose as NSG commandos > a uniformed driver. Ex-servicemen of the area found him suspicious because his age did not match the high rank. They invited him to a program at the martyr’s museum in the cantonment area and apprehended him there.

If Greenwell were mine I’d be thrilled with it’s debut run. A nice easy turf winner in Japan in Damien ridden confidently by @LaneDamian. Lovely looking horses from all reports and sales prices. Could Flightline actually become the first successful sire from the prolific Blitey/Lady Pitt family curated over generations by the Phipps family? @PhippsStableFan
On debut #5 BALLOTEER ($12.04) was impressive going gate-to-wire in race 5 at @ChurchillDowns defeating Greenwell by Flightline. The son of Early Voting (@TMStallions) was ridden by @luissaezpty and is trained by James DiVito. Doubledown Stables owns.

A movie made by Foresee Multimedia on Elusive Pimpernel (Wattlefield-Right Step by Ilheus) and all the men behind him; his trainer; The great Rashid Byramji (After whom we named our horse in France, Rasheed), his owner Deepak Khaitan, his jockeys, Aslam Kader and Mark Gallagher, his breeder, My father Sonny Brar. He was a top notch stallion too unfortunately we never did him justice at Dashmesh. Further he’s proved to be a great Broodmare sire too producing two of India’s all time great mares Elusive Trust and Angelique. youtu.be/TrvaXhSmmbw?si=3mZs…

The time capsule prophecy came true! 😱 A note buried in 1964, and found this year, told the finder to bet on Christmas Day...and he WON! Here's how the story unfolded 👇 In 1964, a horse called Santa Claus won the Epsom Derby, in a race where he was help up early, then produced with a run down the centre of the course in the home straight. Christmas Day won the Derby in a very similar fashion, and it gets weirder... This April, a contractor was moving the bust of Sir Joseph Paxton in Crystal Palace Park when he found a sealed time capsule underneath. Inside: a few old coins and a note telling whoever found it to back a Derby runner whose name could be "associated with Santa Claus." The man who found the note, a Romanian man who's name "Crăciun", literally translates to Christmas... With the information eventually passed from him to the Mayor of Bromley, Christine Harris, it was revealed, to her amazement, that there was a horse in the forthcoming Derby called Christmas Day. The construction crew & the mayor all put money on the horse, with Mrs Harris vowing to donate any prize money to two local mayoral charities. And in a remarkable twist of fate, Christmas Day, held up, angled down the centre of the straight, just like Santa Claus, eventually romped home at 7/1 for Aidan O'Brien. The prophecy came true. 🎅

Only in Indian racing will you find horses that have shown their best form over 2400 metres go to the front in a mile and have the jockeys squeeze the pace and turn the race into a sprint! Talent level- GENIUS!

Not a punting expert but I’d put a huge ❌❌❌ on whatever I saw at @EpsomRacecourse yesterday. The Derby winner looks a nice horse but he’ll need to show his real self in his next start. The Coronation Cup is a complete throw out, I just hope it hasn’t ruined Calandagan as that was a horrible experience to put a horse through. I’m a racing geek and I’ve never seen a Derby in its entire storied history, where horses have had to run so far off the inside rails. A bit surprised at the headlines in all the racing publications, they all seem to have missed the fact that yesterday’s racing was in Cherrapunji conditions. Some hack even said that Calandagan would be suited by conditions…that guy should do everyone a favour and retire!
Epsom is a f’ing MESS today! The Derby is blown wide open! This isn’t just soft it’s simply horrible! Punting there today is akin to playing the Lotto. Really bad advert for English racing, when Tesio said what he said he wasn’t thinking of this. Today’s Derby is giving us a potential National Hunt sire champ. Those 100 runners in the the Dash just F’ed the ground up the straight even more #EpsomDerby #Derby

BTC really needs to up their basic production values for their Rs.1000 plus GST telecast. For one why must they show us the lucky draw? Whatever the hell that is. Secondly please concentrate on the horses once they are in the paddock instead of showing us written graphics and warnings for their copyright telecast which is pirated and sold much cheaper anyway. We don’t need to see the preview or foreign races, we watch them on youtube anyway. Manohar is a good commentator, the other guy not so, English isn’t his first language so to expect him to pronounce French phrases like, “Femme Fatale” is unfair! He’s finally got Gismo right
