When you find yourself in a situation at your job in which you could have been let go but were retained, it is natural to be appreciative of the people responsible for helping you keep your job. Whether you have gratitude for the supervisor who made the decision not to fire you or to a coworker who helped you maintain your position, a thank you letter allows you to express your appreciation and can further strengthen your bonds with them.
