#TigerWidows in #Sunderbans are entitled to a compensation of upto Rs. 8 lakh. But, most of them do not receive it as 80% of the villagers venture into the forest without illegally - simply to survive.

The Sunderbans village has 3,000 tiger widows officially. Anjali Baidya is one among them. She has no relatives, education or a job, but has to fend for her two young children all alone. Worried about the future, she is in a state of despair. @sadhika_tiwari reports.
