In a Zoom motions court this morning, about half of counsel are gowned, half not. Associate Judge gave everyone not gowned a pass as part of a "grace period" of transition to the new practice direction(s), but noted that not everyone will be as understanding as the weeks go by.

Just before this govt ID pic was taken a couple of years ago, the woman in front of me made a long lineup of us wait while she tried different lewks: hair up/down, glasses/no, etc. We were beside ourselves! I was next, and quick about it.
