We’re coming to the end of a productive week on the island of Rurutu. The main focus of our time here has been on building relationships with the community and briefing them on our research. However, we’ve also been able explore the caves and gather samples. #PolynesianCaves2024

Looking for a postdoc for a really exciting position: Antarctic field work (🤞) this 23/24 summer, collecting MT data and then using it to understand and model ice loss. 2 years, Hobart-based, working with me, @dataforwisdom and the @AntarcticSciAus team. DM/email questions! ❄️🧊
ACEAS are currently recruiting for Research Associate Magnetotelluric Geophysics. This exciting opportunity will use field and computer-based approaches applied to geophysical data with a focus on magnetotelluric methods. antarctic.org.au/vacancies/

A lovely end to a run of in-person workshop-lectures. At the end of the session, one of the students said loudly '... that's so cool!', and smiles from class members all round. I was summing up how much we can learn about the natural world using the tools of Wave Physics.
